An official stated that light to moderate rainfall is expected to persist over the next 36 hours. However, weather conditions are likely to improve from Sunday, March 16, with only isolated light rain anticipated on that day.
On March 14, the region experienced wet conditions with light to moderate rainfall, while fresh snowfall was observed in parts of Kashmir. The wet spell is forecasted to continue through March 15 and 16, with significant improvement expected by March 17.
Weather Warning and Advisory
A yellow warning has been issued, alerting residents to isolated snowfall and lightning in Jammu and Kashmir. Authorities have also cautioned about potential transportation disruptions at key passes and higher elevations on March 14 and 15.
