Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality & Citizenship
Candidates must be citizens of India, or subjects of Nepal / Bhutan.
2. Age Limit (As on 01.08.2026)
• SI (Delhi Police & CAPFs): 20 to 25 years.
• SI (Fire) CISF: 18 to 30 years.
• Age Relaxations: SC/ST: +5 years | OBC: +3 years | Ex-Servicemen (ESM): as per rules.
3. Educational Qualification
• SI (Delhi Police & CAPFs): Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. (Final-year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply).
• SI (Fire) CISF: B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; OR Matriculation + 3-year Diploma in a relevant Engineering trade.
• Driving License Mandatory: Male candidates applying for SI in Delhi Police must hold a valid LMV (Car & Motorcycle) Driving License by the Physical Endurence and Measurement Test (PE&MT) date.
Scheme of Examination
The selection process includes Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II, and a Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
